Thank you to Nancy Barker for donating the Martin Luther DVD movie that was played at the Palace. It will be in the Church Library on the book cart. A reminder that books, CD’s, and DVD’s can be borrowed from our library by the honor system. It seems to be working very well, items borrowed then returned without signing out and in. Happy Reading, LouAnn Showalter, Librarian. Thanks again Nancy.

This Weekend we remember loved ones who served in the military and gave their lives. We also remember non-military family and friends who now live in Glory. May God grant peace to all. In observance of Memorial Day the Church Office and Child Care will be closed.

Notes from the Properties Board: We are trying to make the sanctuary comfortable for worship but the transition from heating to cooling is always a challenge for our building superintendent. Our A/C units are aging and do not respond as needed at all times. Hopefully, it will be better today. Carolyn and Rex Parrot have graciously donated the monies to repair the north side speakers in the sanctuary. We thank them for their help in this matter. As repairs are made, the speakers may be absent for a short time. Other exterior repairs have been completed as money is available. When you can,  please respond to the Building Renovation Fund monthly offering envelope in you offering box. Thanks you, Ed Baldauf, Director.

Waldo Fresh Food Distribution will be held June 2.
