Fall Game Day Kickoff Party – Join us Sunday, September 14th at noon in the Gathering Space for a festive fall celebration. Dress in your Teams colors and enjoy board games, prizes, Football games, and lunch!

Thursday Book Study Has Resumed!: The Thursday book study groups meets weekly on Thursdays from 11:30-12:30. They are discussing the book “The Poisonwood Bible” by Barbara Kingsolver. Please purchase a copy and join us for some interesting discussions on how missionary work sometimes fails due to lack of understanding cultures and social, political and geographical climates of those we are trying to reach.
Creative Arts Program –Join us for a 6-week beginner-friendly “Knitting & Crochet Discovery Series”! Thursdays, September 18 – October 23 at 6:00pm in the Lounge. Over the first 3 weeks, you’ll learn the basics of crochet, followed by 3 weeks of knitting fundamentals. With hands-on guidance from fiber artist Candice DeWitt of Stitch & Skein, you’ll master introductory stitches while creating your own handmade dishcloth. Supplies needed: Size 8/5mm knitting needles, size H/5mm crochet hook, two balls of #4 weight cotton yarn in your color choice (a light color recommended, as black/dark yarns can be hard to see when learning), a set of removeable stitch markers, and optional scissors/clippers.
