Emanuel Lutheran Church will be offering free meals to the Community on the Second Thursday of the month! All are welcome to attend and enjoy some fellowship and a fresh cooked meal.
Chair Yoga Continues! Tracy Poole has offered to continue leading Chair Yoga on Fridays through the end of the year! The group will meet in the Gathering Space at 11am on November 7, 11, and 21 (not the 28th) and December 5, 12, and 19 (not the 26th). Wear comfy clothes and bring a yoga mat if you have one. Free will donations will be accepted for the Creative Arts program. All are welcome! Come for one class or all of them. See you there.

Special Congregational Meeting – Sunday, November 16th The Parish Planning Council has called a Special Congregational Meeting to vote on a candidate to call for the Associate Pastor position. The candidate will lead both worship services that morning and be available for meet and greets between services in the Gathering Space. The meeting will take place immediately following the 11am worship service. We are excited for this opportunity. Please plan to attend worship and the meeting on Sunday, November 16th. Voting is open to confirmed members of Emanuel Lutheran and you must be present to vote. You will receive a letter with more details in the coming weeks.

Worship Times Discussion – At the congregational meeting in July, it was decided to postpone the vote on worship times until January in order to give the new schedule more time and also to allow members a chance to have their opinions on worship considered in the process. To this end, the board of Spiritual Life will be hosting three cottage meetings in November to discuss worship times. Please plan to attend a meeting and have your voice heard. Cottage meetings will be:
- Sunday, November 9th at 10am in the Sanctuary
- Wednesday, November 12th at 7pm in the Gathering Space
- Tuesday, November 18th at 7pm in the Gathering Space
